☀️✏️ Third graders took advantage of the beautiful sunshine and headed to our outdoor classroom for writing time yesterday! Students practiced writing from the perspective of another object, imagining and describing the world through its point of view. What a great day to take learning outside!

🎨🖌️ Splatter Art Fun! 🖌️🎨
Our 4th graders had such a great time getting creative with paint brushes and splatter art! Lots of color, creativity, smiles, and maybe just a little paint everywhere! 😂🎨 What a great way to learn, create, and have a blast together in Mrs. Smilloff's art room!

🫧☀️ Family Time + Bubbles!
We soaked up this beautiful fall day with some bubble blowing outside during Family Time! There’s nothing better than fresh air, sunshine, smiles, and spending time together across grade levels. 💙🫧🍁

Here is our second week of High Flyers! We are so proud that they demonstrated skills of respect, responsibility, and safety this past week! Congrats!

Happy IT Professionals Day! We appreciate all of the help you give us, George! You do an amazing job and are a shining star!

Our first STEM Friday was a huge hit in 3rd grade! Our classroom was buzzing with excitement, curiosity, and wonder as students learned through hands-on exploration!
🔎 Using handheld microscopes, students discovered a whole new world up close—examining the fabric of their clothes, their skin, hair, and more!
They also:
🔬 Explored slides with traditional microscopes
🥽 Traveled the world through VR goggles
🧲 Designed and built structures with Magna-Tiles
🔵 Created and tested marble mazes
The best part was seeing how engaged, excited, and eager to explore our students were. They had a blast learning, creating, investigating, and discovering together!
A HUGE thank you to the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation and all of the generous donors who provided these materials through grants. Your support makes hands-on learning experiences like this STEM Friday possible for our students!

Be sure to attend our school fundraiser tonight at 69th & Cliff B & G Milky Way from 4-6 pm! Be sure to mention All City!!

One of the things we LOVE about Family Time is bringing together students from kindergarten through 5th grade to build relationships, practice social skills, and enjoy time together! Today, we headed outside for some sidewalk chalk creativity!

Be sure to attend our school fundraiser on September 14 at 69th & Cliff B & G Milky Way from 4-6 pm! Be sure to mention All City!!

🌟 Congrats to our All City High Flyers! 🌟
Students earn High Flyer tickets for showing PBIS expectations of respect, responsibility, & safety. Each week, one student from each class and one staff member are drawn and recognized!
👏 Way to go, Eagles! 🦅💙

We are so thankful for the incredible teachers and staff at All City Elementary! Their hard work, dedication, and passion for learning shine through each and every day. Most importantly, they truly care about our students and work tirelessly to help every child learn, grow, and succeed.
We are so lucky to have such an amazing team making a difference in the lives of kids every day! We wish all staff could have made the photo, but thank you all for what you do!!

First day school pics are so fun when you have a cool sign to stand by! Thanks for the donated sign! We are off to a great first week!

First Friday Bowling was so much fun to get our year 'rolling' in the right direction! Thanks, Sport Bowl, for hosting us! We had a blast!

Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Our third graders tackled their first STEM challenge of the year: Saving Fred! Working in teams, they used critical thinking and paper clips to rescue Fred the gummy worm. It was a great lesson in teamwork, strategy, and hands-on learning!

Our Back To School Bash will be here before you know it! We hope your family can attend!

Happy First Day of School! Welcome back!

Today was such a special tradition as our All City alumni who are graduating this year came back one last time to walk the 5th graders out of the building. ❤️🎓
Seeing former students return, all grown up and ready for their next chapter, was such a powerful reminder of how quickly time flies and how strong the All City family truly is!
We are so proud of our graduating alumni and can’t wait to see our current students follow in their footsteps someday. Once an All City student, always an All City student! It was great to have their family's back too!
