Fall is in the air! Look at this pure joy! 🍂😊

Happy #DoSomethingNiceDay! What a perfect day to introduce our value of the month: Kindness! On Wednesday, October 19th let's celebrate kindness at Lowell by doing something kind for another person.

Thankful for our SIPPS Specialists to help our first and second graders grow as readers!! 📚❤️

Picture Retakes on Tuesday, October 18th. Please return your child's unused package if you want to redo pictures or money if you are taking pictures for the first time and wish to purchase. Call the office if you need more details.

Remember to stop by the Book Fair in the library tonight at conferences! 📚

Congratulations to our newest Lowell leaders! 🎉

Bulldogs will learn anywhere... even in the hallway!!

Reminder: We have parent teacher conferences Tuesday, Oct. 11th from 12:00-7:00 pm and Thursday, Oct. 13th from 3:30-7:00 pm. If you can not make your assigned time, please call the office on Tuesday morning to reschedule. The book fair will be open in the library if you wish to purchase books. Sometimes a student is the best teacher❤️ This first grader was teaching her classmates how to read the pictures in a book📚

Lowell recently got Viewboards and teachers are loving learning all the new features!

A little rain didn't stop these fifth graders from having fun at recess!

Thank you to Curt Aasheim for the donation of pumpkins for our K-3 kiddos!! What a perfect way to start October! 🎃

Excuse us while we brag for a minute… Our Superintendent is pretty talented! Dr. Jane Stavem is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, trumpet player, French horn player, percussionist, xylophone player… oh, and she also plays harmonica! 😉 These talents, along with her deep love for all things Fine Arts, earned her the honor of Parade Marshal for Festival of Bands 2022! We are proud to be lead by someone who values the role extracurriculars play in “preparing each student to succeed in a changing world!”

Our second graders are working hard to grow as mathematicians by playing Dreambox. Ask your child what math skill they are working on!

403 had a special guest reader AND check out the eight legged visitor! 😲🕷

Look at that third grade engagement during Library! What books did your child check out this week?

We're so proud of the good choices these role models are making! #goldenmoments

Updated breakfast and lunch pricing, how to re-apply for free and reduced meals, who gets low fund balance notifications, and an easy and delicious snack mix recipe to try at home. It's all in the October edition of the "What's the Scoop" newsletter from our Child Nutrition Services!

Roosevelt High School seniors took time out of their homecoming week to come chat with students at lunch!

Lowell Summer Academy students toured the Sertoma Butterfly House and Aquarium. Students enjoyed the many butterflies that landed. One class was able to observe the stingray feeding.
