Last week, Miss Leloux's and Mrs. Ernster's buddy classrooms went to the Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum to learn about trees, how black walnuts are used for ink, visited a pioneer classroom, and went on a nature scavenger hunt! It was fun to learn together!
These students demonstrated skills of being responsible, respectful, and safe and then were chosen as our High Flyers for the week! Way to go!
Our first swimming of the year was a lot of fun! Big thanks to our Friday volunteers for their help! We love getting bonus exercise and memories when we swim at Embe each month!

Big shout out to our awesome custodians, Dorothy and Habi, on Custodian's Day! We appreciate you for all of your hard work year round! You are the best!
Happy National Physical Therapy Month to our PT, Melissa! We appreciate all you do for our students!
Can you believe we are thinking about next school year already? If you have a sibling that you want to attend ACE next year, be sure to complete the application! This must be done prior to the deadline for priority enrollment as a sibling. Review the information found at the link below for more information. Feel free to also share with friends that you think might be interested in All City as an option for their child(ren)!
We are so appreciative of all of our parent volunteers! Big thanks to these parents who were "volunteer trainers" this year! Our school is unique in the fact that we have daily volunteers who help in and out of our classroom! These ladies helped train those volunteers to be ready to help in the classroom effectively! Thank you!
Every day our students work hard to be responsible, respectful, and safe! Students can earn a ticket when they are demonstrating those skills! Each month we have a goal for a certain number of tickets to meet our goal to earn a prize! This month the students crushed their goal to have a "Party on the Playground" on the last Friday of the month! Way to go! They had a blast!
Our beloved Sock Hop got moved to the fall this year for a Back to School Bash! Students, families, and staff danced the night away to a beach theme! Thanks to Holly Dziobecki for organizing the event and to Paige Rock for helping with the concession stands to help raise money for 4th and 5th grade events! We appreciate the support of all attending! Fun event!
EIC/ACE buddies is a fun activity between our two schools at Jane Addams-All City and Elementary Immersion Center. Mrs. Ernster's class and Miss Leloux's class meet once a week and they have been busy reading outside in the Outdoor Classroom, playing with chalk outside together on these beautiful fall days, and playing UNO and other games together all while they learn each other's names and all about each other! They are even going on a field trip together this week! Such a cool activity that our schools do in each of the classrooms throughout the week!
Way to go High Flyers! You are amazing at showing great leadership skills! Keep it up!
